Geraldine E. Belden, age 77 of Columbus, Kansas passed away 5:50 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Medicalodge of Columbus after an illness.

Jerry was born January 21, 1932 in Oakley, Kansas the daughter of Ward V. and Evelyn (Trumbo) Robison.

She worked for the State of Kansas with Social Rehabilitation Services in Columbus, Kansas as a social worker.

She married Carl Belden on October 13, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death July 1, 2004.

Survivors include daughter-in-law Laura Belden of Rusk, Texas, a half sister Jaci Knoweton of Wellston, MI. Three grandchildren Shane Beldon and wife Casey of Miami, OK, Kera Beldon and Ashley January and husband James all of Columbus, KS. Three great grandchildren Brendan Beldon, AAliyah Russell and Olivia January of Columbus, KS.

The casket will remain closed as per Jerry's wishes.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday April 23, 2009, at the Park Cemetery in Columbus with Reverend Jeff Martin and Dennis Johnson, Pastor officiating.
