Thomas "Tom" Goodwin Reeves, age 62 of Joplin, MO passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at his residence after a long illness.

Tom was born July 15, 1945 in Parsons, KS the son of Francis O. and Juanita Maxine (Goodwin) Reeves. He graduated from C.C.R.H.S. in Columbus, KS in 1963, and then graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1967. He was a rural Mail carrier for the Columbus, Kansas Post Office. He enjoyed the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, playing golf, and gardening.

He was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo.

Survivors include two sons James Dustin Reeves of Joplin, MO and Lance David Reeves of Springfield, MO and one daughter Lacy Hale of Joplin, MO; one brother Bill Reeves of Columbus, KS and two sisters Janet Draeger of Eagle Rock, MO and Susan Beggs of Grove, OK and one grandson.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday (1-9-08) at the Simpson Funeral Home Columbus, KS. with Richard Richardson, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS. The family will receive friends from 7 till 8:30p.m. at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS.
