Elfriede M. Kaegi
20 April 1949 — 17 February 2008

Elfriede M. Kaegi, age 58 formerly of Galena, KS passed away Sunday Feb. 17, 2008 at the Freeman Health Systems in Joplin, MO.

Elfriede was born April 20, 1949 in Mannheim, Germany. She moved and became a citizen of the United States on Sept 6, 1962.

Survivors include loving companion Bob Dempsy of Joplin, four children Monika Stephens of Seneca, South Carolina, David Kerns of Baxter Springs, Monica Ivey of Tulsa, OK and Brian Kerns of Galena; two brothers Billy Hardiman of Kansas City, MO, and Benjie Hardiman of Baxter Springs and dad Bunnie Hardiman of Columbus and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 20, 2008) at the Tennessee Prairie Church rural Columbus, with the David Robison, Pastor officiating. Arrangements are by the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS.
