Lacy Dee Delmont-Jones age 36, of Hallowell, KS passed away March 3, 2008 near Columbus, KS as a result of an injury accident.

She was born Nov. 29, 1971 the daughter of Jim and Sharon Delmont

She was raised in rural Hallowell attending grade school in Columbus and graduated high school in Oswego. She also graduated from Independence Junior College.

Lacy was a loving mother, wife and daughter. She cared for elders in her neighborhood and helped so many people. She loved the country, fishing, her flowers and animals she rescued.

Survivors include her husband Glenn Jones and her two daughters Haley and Shelby.

Lacy was blessed with her two families Jim and Alice "Tootsie" Delmont (Dad & Mom). Two sisters Lela Delmont and Libby Fouts and one brother Sam Delmont and Mother and Step father Sharon and Wyman Preston. Two brothers Mike Loyd and Billy Loyd and one sister Dianna Loyd. Lacy is also survived by her husband's mother Vickie Jones and one sister Terie Swanwick and one brother Tracy Osborne.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Glen Jones.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday March 6, 2008 at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS with the Minister Phil Hays officiating. Burial will be in the Edgmand Cemetery N.W. of Columbus. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Columbus, KS. Memorials may be left for the Children's Education Fund and may be left at the Funeral Home.
