Bernard "Buddy" Eugene Heinneberg
1 July 1951 — 9 July 2008

Bernard "Buddy" Eugene Heinneberg, age 57 of Scammon, KS passed away July 9, 2008 Wednesday afternoon at his residence.

He was born July 1, 1951 at Lovell, Wyoming, the son of Clarence "Bud" and Margaret (Borders) Heinneberg.

He was in the US Army during Vietnam. He was wounded and received a purple heart. Afterwards he started working for Husky Oil Co. in Cody, WY and worked in oil fields in Colorado, Wyoming and also worked in construction trades.

He married Rosezina Edwards on September 14, 2002 at LaBarge, Wyoming. She survives of the home.

He enjoyed his hobbies which included jewelry making, hunting, fishing, camping with Rose, setting by the fire and his loving dog Snow.

Survivors include one daughter Morgan Christensen and husband Dane of Billings, Montana, two step daughters Daisy Mooney and husband Dennis of Scammon, KS, Brenda Chambers and husband Jeff of Labarge, Wyoming, two step sisters Greta Peppersack and husband Wayne of Glenrock, Wyoming, Pamela Daugherty and husband Doug of Richland, Washington and a brother Charles George and wife Kathi of Green Valley, Arizona, two grandchildren Daven and Caden Christensen, 9 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren.

His wishes were that he be cremated. Private memorial services will be at a later date. Military honors will be given by the American Legion of Columbus, KS. Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS is in charge of the arrangements.
