Laura Glasgow
12 August 1946 — 10 July 2008

Laura Glasgow, age 61 of Columbus, KS passed away Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2008 at the St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, MO.

She was born August 12, 1946 at Pasadena, Calif. the daughter of Frank and Clarena Helen (Hodge) Crosby. She was a house wife and also a beautician.

Memberships include the St. Paul United Methodist Church St. Paul, KS and the 1st United Methodist Church of Columbus, KS.

Laura married Richard B. Glasgow on August 11, 1964 at the Methodist Church in Columbus. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons Troy Glasgow and Chuck Glasgow and one daughter Amy Newcomb all of Columbus, KS, her mother Clarena and father Max Taylor of Columbus, three brothers David Crosby of Kansas City, KS, Phillip Crosby of Columbus, KS and Keith Crosby of Tulsa, OK and three sisters Sandra Stanley and Weezie Robnett both of Columbus, KS and Terri Kneol of Eldora, Iowa, four grandchildren Logan Glasgow, Chandler Glasgow, Nate Newcomb and Alaina Newcomb all of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday July 15, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus with Janet Maxwell DS officiating. Burial will be at the Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday July 14, 2008 at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS.
