Shirley Ann Fredricks, 64 of Columbus, KS passed away Thursday morning at 10:20 a.m. at her home in Columbus.

Shirley was born Dec. 15, 1944 in Fostorea, Ohio the daughter of Price Norman and Mildred Edna (Arnold) Neese. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She married John Henderson Fredrick on April 7, 1978 in Miami, OK.

She was active in the American Legion auxillary and the VFW auxiliary.

Survivors include four sons and daughters: Evert England of Columbus and Joe England of Arma, Jody England of Baxter Springs, Sharon Tackett of Pensacola, Florida and brothers Norman Neese of Pittsburg, KS, Jerry Neese of Arkansas, Robert Neese and Doug Neese both in Phoenix, Arizona and two sisters Linda Wedge of Little Rock, AK and Connie LC Washington, and 8 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband John and one sister Jody Neese in 2007.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 4, 2008 at the Lone Elm Cemetery NE. of Columbus. With Roger Hasselquist officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Hospice and may be mailed or left at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus.
