Emersyn Rai Smith, infant daughter of Shawn and Karrah Smith of Columbus passed away July 4, 2007 at the Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, MO.

She was born July 3, 2007 at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.

Additional survivors include two brothers Ridge and Trent Smith of the home and Paternal grandparents Richard Ray Smith of Grove, OK and Mary Torchia and her husband John of Columbus, KS. Maternal grandparents Kenneth and Vickie Coy of Columbus. Paternal Great Grand mothers Audry Smith of Grove, and Celia Good of Pittsburg, KS and Flossie Torchia of Colubus, and Maternal Great Grandparents Mildred Coy of Columbus, and Charles Bowin of West Mineral, KS and Aunt and Uncle.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday July 7, 2007 at the Edgmand Cemetery of rural Columbus, with Dennis Johnson, Pastor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus.
