Rama Alyene Sargent, age 73 of Columbus, Kansas passed away Jan. 20, 2007 at the St. Johns-Maude Norton Memorial City Hospital in Columbus, Ks.

She was born September 26, 1933 at Galena, Ks, the daughter of William and Mary Alice (Bramwell) Cox. She grew up and graduated from high school in 1951 in Galena, Ks.

She married Fred Savage in 1953 and they divorced in 1953. She married Harry (Duge) Albertson Jr. Dec. 9, 1962 and they divorced Sept 1983, then she married Bob Sargent March 1984 and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Member of the 1st Baptist Church, Home Extension, and a 4-H Leader for the All Stars and the Glittering Stones all of Columbus, KS.

Survivors include 2 sons Bill Albertson of Fairview, Ok. and John Albertson of Oswego, Ks and 6 daughters Terri Collins of Olathe, KS, Mary Richards, Anna Albertson-Boyd all of Columbus, KS, Paula Reynolds Bartlett, Patricia Jarrett of Columbus, KS, and Julie Albertson of Kansas City, Mo. One sister Sharon Charles of Galena, KS, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with the Duane Cox officiating burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Galena, KS The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday Jan 22, 2007 at the Simpson Funeral Home Columbus, Kansas. The family suggest memorials to the Renal Care and may be left at the funeral home.
