Kurtis (Kris) Morgan
8 March 1960 — 6 June 2007

Kurtis (Kris) Morgan better know as KK #8 age 47 of the Baxter Springs, and the Columbus Kansas area passed away June 6, 2007 at his home.

He was born March 8, 1960 at Parsons, Kansas the son of Carl Eugene Morgan and Dixie Sharon Van-Slyke.

Survived by companion Karen Carlton, step-son Rusty Carlton, step-daughter Amanda and husband Craig Burton and grandson Hunter Burton all of Columbus, his mother Dixie Sizemore of Sedgwick, KS, sister, Kimberly and husband Doug Easter. Niece Chelsey Easter of Carl Junction, Mo. brother Kraig, and Mel and nephew Kody Morgan Baxter Springs, Ks, sister Kelly and husband Shawn and nephew Kole Edgell, Sedgwick, neices Morgan and Madison Gough, Sedwick, brother Kiley, nephews Kamryn and Kristopher Sizemore, of Wichita, numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by great niece Chloe Paris Gough in 2005 and maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Roy VanSlyke.

The family will receive friends from 5-6p.m. Sunday June 10, 2007. Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Sunday at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with the Dr. Steve Minor. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial Fund will be set up in Kris's name.
