Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Simpson, age 49, of Parsons, KS passed away Sunday afternoon at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS after an illness.

She was born October 12, 1956 at Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Billy Dean and Norma Mary (Cronister) Carroll. She graduated from the Girard High School, Girard, KS. She worked for 13 years at the Heritage Nursing Home in Girard, KS.

She married Danny Joe Simpson March 17, 1978, he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one son Brad Simpson and one daughter Terra Jinenez both of Parsons, KS, one brother Dean Carroll and two sisters Mary Crumpacker and Christy Vulgamore all of Girard, KS, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (Feb 22, 06) at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with Tom Goettel, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Elm Cemetery NE of Columbus, KS. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday (Feb 21, 06) at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS.
