Olive Fay O'Neal
23 December 1927 — 25 August 2006

Olive Fay O'Neal, age 78, of Roseland, Kansas passed away at her home at 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2006. Mrs. O'Neal was born December 23, 1927 at Longton, Kansas, the daughter of James T. Seitz and Mary Belle Morris. She married William (Bud) O'Neal in November, 1944. They later divorced.

She worked at Glen Berry Garment Factory, A.J. Atlas and Castle Gate. She was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church of Cherokee, Kansas.

She is survived by two sons, Dan O'Neal of Bowie, AZ, and David O'Neal of Chetopa, KS, three daughters, Pat Rion of Scammon, KS, Cathy Feagan of Pittsburg, KS, and Mary Brill of West Plains, MO, one brother, John Sietz of Baxter Springs, KS, two sisters, Betty Newstadt and Margie Hamilton of Salisbury, MO., 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 1 son and 1 granddaughter.

Family visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2006 from 7 - 8 p. m. at the Simpson Funeral Home, 323 S Kansas, Columbus, KS. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Cherokee Baptist Church, Cherokee, KS. The family suggests memorial donations to the Cherokee Baptist Church which can be mailed or left at Simpson Funeral Home, 323 S Kansas, Columbus, KS, who is in charge of funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Columbus, KS.
