Samuel Wayne Major, infant son of Dustin and Kimberly Major of Columbus, KS passed away Saturday April 29, 2006 at the Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Pittsburg, KS.

Additional survivors include two brothers Jacob and Isaac Major of the home, his maternal grandparents Barbara and Dan Duncan of Crestline, KS; paternal grandparents Steve and Cindi Major of Columbus, KS; maternal great grandmother Charlene Duncan of Crestline, KS; paternal great grandmother Ann Major of Columbus, KS; and paternal great grandfather Leroy Scoles of Miami, OK; Paternal great great grandmothers Irene Self of Columbus, KS and Gilberta Patton of Miami, OK; several aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles, great great aunts and uncles and a great great great great aunt in Carl Junction, Mo.

Memorial Services will be 6 p.m. Monday May 1, 2006 at the Crestline First Baptist Church in Crestline, KS with the Rev. Paul Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Edgmand Cemetery, rural Columbus, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home Columbus, KS.
