Dennis E. Jones, born March 14, 1970 left this earth and was received into the arms of God on March 4, 2006 never to suffer again. He was born in Providence, KY and lived most of his life in Southeast Kansas.

He is survived by his mother Linda Jones of Miami, OK, brother Jeff Jones of Springfield, MO. His maternal grandmother Margie Hamilton of Columbus, KS and fiancé Dana Payette of Miami, OK. One aunt Janice Leeper of Joplin, MO and two uncles Johnny Jeffrey of McCune, KS and Jimmy Hamilton of Hallowell, KS and many cousins from around the country.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie Hamliton, and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Evelyn Jones and one uncle, Charlie Jeffrey.

He worked for several years in Columbus, KS as an EMT for the Cherokee County Ambulance Association.

He was ill most of his life, some of his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. In living he touched many lives and in the end life's final victory was his.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday March 6, 2006 at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday (March 7, 2006) at the Crestline Baptist Church in Crestline, KS with the Pastor Paul Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery Columbus, KS. Memorial contributions may be left for the Integris Regency Hospice in Miami, OK and may be left at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS.
