Kenneth P. "Ken" Gorman, age 62 of Pittsburg, KS passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at home after a short illness.

Ken was born June 14, 1944 at Bridgeport, Conn, the son of Richard Glenn and Valerie Ann (Morrison) Gorman. He grew up and attended schools in that area. He was a sales person, selling televisions and appliances for the S.E. TV and Appliances in Pittsburg, KS.

He married Elsie Maxton October 15, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. She survives of the home.

He was a veteran with the US Army.

He was of Catholic faith.

Survivors include the wife Elsie Gorman of the home; two sons Kenneth G. Gorman of Minndenmines, MO, Richard G. Gorman of Pittsburg, KS, and one daughter Karin V. Duggan of Gardner, KS and nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday Dec. 18, 2006 at the Lone Elm Cemetery rural Columbus, KS with the Father McElwee officiating. Services are under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home, 323 S. Kansas Ave, Columbus, KS.
