S. Coleen Gage age 65 of Columbus, KS passed away Thursday August 17, 2006 at the St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.

She was born Sept. 5, 1940 in rural Hallowell, KS. the daughter of Aaron Milton and Lela Vivian (Moore) Kennedy she moved to the area from Kansas City, MO in 1993. She worked as a seamtress in a garment factory in Kansas City for a number of years.

She married Burley Don Gage in Kansas City and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Survivors include one son Donald Gage and two sisters: Madeline Best and Norma Wiseman both of Columbus, KS; and three nephews and 1 niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Ada Fexin and an infant brother.

Family visitation will be from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. Sunday night at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS. Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday August 21, 2006 at the McKee Cemetery rural Hallowell, KS, with the Rev. Johnie Adkins officiating.
