Patricia Joan Williams, age 71, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 10, 2005 at 3:35 pm at Medicalodge of Columbus.

She was born May 25, 1933 of rural Sherwin, KS, the daughter of Harvey Wilcox and Millie (Crain) Wilcox. She attended Columbus High School and graduated in 1951.

She married Earl (Fuz) Williams on September 4, 1954. She worked for Southwestern Bell for 31 years in Pittsburg and Wichita, retiring in 1983. She moved back to Columbus in 1996.

Pat has lived at Medicalodge since April 2004.

Preceding her in death was her husband who passed away on September 25, 1990; her parents, and one brother, Fred Wilcox who passed away on November 25, 1999.

Survivors include three sisters: Retha Schultz, Marilea Brumback and Cora Sue Cook, all of the Columbus area.

She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday January 13, 2005 at Simpson Funeral Home Columbus, KS with Reverend Joe Gentzler officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery Columbus, KS.
