Vicki Sue Walters

Vicki Sue Walters, age 40 of Scammon, Ks. passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday February 27, 2005 at the St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO.

Vicki was born January 27, 1965 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Richard B. and Anna P. (Walker) Hitchcock. She graduated from Emporia Tech. School. She worked as a desk clerk for the Pittsburg Truck and Travel Plaza.

She married Bryan Walters on April 29, 2000 at Pittsburg, KS. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter Denise Baker of the home. Mother Anna George of McPherson, KS. Parent-in-laws Leo and Marilyn Walters and Judy and Bryant Bay. One brother, David Hetzler, four sisters Debra Turner, Donna Helvey, Dixie Hetzler all of Wichita, KS. and Delores Hetzler of Kechi, KS. and three step-sisters Diane Joseph and Vicki Williams both of Wichita, KS and Paula Meng of Florida.

Preceded in death by one brother Rickie Hitchcock and father George Grange.

According to her wishes she has been taken for cremation.

Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday (March 1, 2005) at the Simpson Funeral Home of Columbus, KS. Memorial contributions may be left in her name at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS. 66725
