Armilda Viola Sharp
3 September 1920 — 10 February 2005

Armilda Viola Sharp, age 84 of Columbus, KS passed away Thursday evening (February 10, 2005) at the St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO after an illness.

Armilda was born September 3, 1920 at Hawarden, Iowa the daughter of William and Helena H. (Kamp) Boul. She grew up and attended schools and graduated from high school in Hawarden, Iowa. She was a house wife.

Armilda married Ira W. "Bill" Sharp on April 13, 1940 at West Point, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in March 2002.

Membership includes Calvery Baptist Church Columbus, KS.

Survivors include two daughters Mary Brumback of St. James Minn., Patti Robison of Columbus, KS; One son Ira W. Sharp, Jr. of Manteca, Calif.; 21 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, 1 daughter, and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday (Feb. 14, 2005) at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS. With Jim Ames officiating. Private burial will be in the Lone Elm Cemtery rural Columbus, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Calvery Baptist Church Columbus, KS and may be left or mailed to the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS.
