Billy Gene Judy, age 58 of rural Columbus, KS passed away 7 a.m. Tuesday (May 10, 2005) at the St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO

Billy was born October 19, 1946 at Cliffy, Ark. the son of Clyde B. and Brunetta (Gilmore) Judy.

Billy married Carolyn Sue on April 12, 1967 in Columbus, KS, she survives of the home.

Mr. Judy was employed by the Crossland Construction Co. in Columbus, KS as a site supervisor, serving as supervisor when the Columbus Fire Station and Museum were built and many other projects in the four state area. He loved to hunt, fish and garden.

Additional survivors include one son Bill Judy, Jr. of Columbus, KS and one daughter Shelby Judy of the home, one sister Bruna Adamson of rural Columbus, KS and three brothers Basil Judy of Joplin, MO, Jerry Judy and Ronnie Judy both of Columbus, KS, one granddaughter and serveral nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by daughter Tammy in 1994.

Graveside Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday (May 13, 2005) at the Park Cemetery with the Reverend Don Flanner officiating. The family suggests everyone meet at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS and go in procession to the cemetery, leaving around 9:50 a.m. Friday. The family will have a visitation from 7-9p.m. Thursday (May 12, 2005) at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS.
