Marilyn H. Douthit, age 80, of Clinton, Missouri formerly of Columbus, KS passed away Monday August 8, 2005 at her home in Clinton, Mo.

Marilyn was born in Forrest City, Arkansas. She was a registered nurse working in the surgery department of Golden Valley Memorial hospital in Clinton until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Douthit on January 14, 1989.

She is survived by one daughter Becky Douthit and companion Kenny Hendrick of Clinton, Mo.; one son Chester Dale Douthit and wife Angie of Clueiston, Fl. And one grandson Aaron Douthit of Fayette, MO as well as two sisters-in-law June Douthit of Baxter Springs, KS and Carol Houston of Chanute, KS

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, MO. Another family visitation will be held from 11 a.m. til 12:30 p.m. Friday August 12, 2005 at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS the family suggest contributions to the Marilyn H. Douthit Memorial Fund for the use at the conservation department and may be left at the Funeral Home.
