Chad A. Appleton, 25 of Chetopa, KS passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2005 as a result of a motor vehcile accident in Cherokee County, KS.

Chad was born September 9, 1979 in Elk City, OK. The son of Glenn Henry and Twila Ann Appleton. He grew up and attended school in Chetopa, KS graduating from Chetopa High School in 1997. He worked as a painter with the Ottawa Manufacturing Company in Chetopa, KS.

Survivors include companion Abby Cassell of the home and one son André Appleton of the home, his father Glenn Appleton of Chetopa, KS, one brother Justin Appleton of Chetopa, KS and one uncle Glenn Jr. of Elk City, OK, and many friends.

The body has been taken for cremation.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday (March 8, 2005) at Oak Hill Cemetery Chetopa, KS with the Rev. Jack Wilkinson officiating. Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, KS is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial has been set up in his child's name André Appleton's Education Fund and may be left at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS.
