Robert Schultz
20 November 1933 — 29 October 2004

Robert Schultz, 70 of rural Columbus, Kansas passed away 3:10 p.m. Friday October 29, 2004 at the St. Johns-Maude Norton Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Kansas after a sudden illness.

Robert was born November 20, 1933 at Edingburg, Texas the son of Seba Wayne and Emma (Wilcox) Schultz. He grew up and attended schools in Texas. He was a farmer most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 till his discharge in 1957.

Robert married Retha Wilcox in 1958 at Crestline, Kansas. She survives of the home.

He was a member of the Lawton Christian Church of Lawton, Kansas.

Additional survivors include wife of the home; 3 sons: Rick, Doug and Scott Schultz all of rural Columbus, Kansas, and one daughter, Susan Wells, of Columbus, Kansas and half-sister Florence Cox of O'fallion, Illinois. Sixteen grandchildren — Derick, Alisha, Ashley, Autumn, Amanda, Lacy, Stacy, Erica, Shelby, Seth, Madison, Bailey, Caleb, Christopher, Amber, Breann and seven great-grandchildren — Jackson, Anystin, Makynzi, Jagger, Gentry, Sylas, Alexus.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Park Cemetery Columbus, Kansas with the Reverend Dennis Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7p.m. til 8p.m. at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Christian Church of Columbus, Kansas and may be left at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, Kansas 66725.
