Cecil Mock
9 August 1916 — 23 November 2004

Cecil Mock, 88 of Columbus, KS passed away Tuesday Nov. 23, 2004 at the Medicalodge of Columbus after an illness.

Cecil was born August 9, 1916 at rural Columbus, KS the son of Roy Burgess and Nora Alverna (Headley) Mock. He grew up and attended schools in Columbus, graduated from Columbus High School. He was a lifetime resident of Cherokee County, Kansas. He was a farmer most of his life. He was a member of the US Air Force serving in WWII.

Memberships include American Legion Keith Reeves Post #3 of Columbus, KS

Survivors include two brothers Marvin Mock of Denver, CO, Ralph Mock of Wilsey, KS; three sisters Opal Kinghorn of Odgen, Utah, Kathy Bower of Columbus, KS, Virginia Diles of Joplin, MO.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Edna O'Dell, Edith Mock and one brother LeRoy Mock.

Mr. Mock's wish was to be cremated. Private family graveside services will be at a later date.

Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Ave. Columbus, KS. is in charge of the arrangements.
