Eva M. Wiltfong

Eva M. Wiltfong, 81, of Columbus, Kansas passed away Wednesday (March 12, 2003)
at 1:50 p.m. at her home in Columbus, Ks. after a short illness.
Eva was born April 28, 1921 in Fredonia, Kansas the daughter of James T. and
Mary Belle (Morris) Seitz. She lived in Columbus, Ks. til 1971 then moved to Mt.
Home, Arkansas she moved back to Columbus in 1976.
She married Chester Wiltfong on November 26, 1971 in Columbus, Kansas. He
preceded her in death December 31, 1991. She retired from St. John's Regional
Medical Center where she worked in housekeeping. She also worked for Dr. Stanley
E. Davis doctors office in Columbus, Ks.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Columbus, Kansas. CWF, Clio
Club, B-Crafty and was a Boy Scout Leader and Volunteered at the Columbus
Museum.
Survivors include one daughter Mary Bentley of Parkville, Mo. and one son Jerry
Coble of Columbus, Ks. Two step-sons Phil Wiltfong of Tulsa, Okla. and Dennis
Wiltfong of Edmond, Okla. Three sisters Olive O'Neal of Columbus, Ks., Margie
Hamilton and Betty Neudstadt both of Salisbury, Mo. One brother John Seitz of
Baxter Springs, Ks. 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband, two sisters, one brother
and one grandson.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (March 15, 2003) in the First
Christian Church in Columbus, Ks. with the Reverend Joe Gentzler officiating.
Burial will be in the Park Cemetery in Columbus, Kansas. Arrangements are under
the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus, Kansas
