Zelma Louise Dungan
13 July 1925 — 1 October 2002

Zelma Louise Dungan, age 77, of Columbus, Kansas passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at the Freeman East Hospital in Joplin, Mo. of a short illness. She went peacefully surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Dungan was born July 13, 1925 in Crestline, Kansas the daughter of Jeff and Ethel (Bell) Keith. She was raised in Stipville, Kansas and lived in the Columbus, Kansas area all of her life. She was a Homemaker.

She married Wilbur Dale Dungan on November 8, 1944 in Macon, Ga. He survives of the home.

Additional Survivors include 5 daughters: Dixie Woods, Pittsburg, Kansas, Brenda Dungan, San Francisco, Ca., Janice Rennie, Columbus, Kansas, Terri Dungan, Sparks, Nv., Sheila Gates, Joplin, Mo. 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 4 great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by an infant son Dennis Ray Dungan, one sister, and four brothers.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday October 4, 2002 at the Greenlawn Cemetery Southwest of Columbus, Kansas with the Rev. Dennis Johnson Offic.

The family has asked that friends and family meet at the Greenlawn Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. on Friday October 4, 2002. Family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday October 3, 2002 at the Simpson Funeral Home 323 S. Kansas Columbus, Kansas
